this work is important, especially for those gringos who think they are at all informed re: U.S. history....
I'm reminded of the title, Lies My Teacher Told Me, and how much mis/dis information most of us have been spoon fed.
KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE CIA AND GOLDMAN SACHS or you're blind to any dose of reality!

Interesting,but somewhat biased and gossipy
This book provides a counterbalance to the starry eyed, patriotic accounts of the exploits of Theodore Roosevelt. However, it descends to petty personal smears, neglecting to frame his attitudes within the culture of the time. The personality of Taft is analysed through a pop-psychology lens.
