Originally planned as a teaser single from an upcoming release on Mike Patton's Ipecac Records, Illness sprawls out into a full-force EP that finds the return of the Kid in prime form. Not as reliable on cut-up madness like the past few releases, the title track is straight-up beats and breaks that could very well be an electronic music anthem given the proper amount of exposure.
