Internally, age tanned, MISSING front endpapers amd title page (starts with Preface and ends with first free rear endpaper), several leaves loose (laid-in at proper places), nicks and chips along edges, two handwritten recipes and some brief notations and numbers on endpapers (all in pencil). Decent and useable reading copy. Contains many typical and more unusual recipes for a full array of food, plus condiments, confectionary, beverages, candy, etc., such as eel soup, fish pate, liver sauce, mushroom ketchup, nettle beer and primrose vinegar.
