In 1357, Isolda, widow of Henry de Frokyngove, granted to 357' John Sewale two pieces of land at Frokyngove in Heine, containing two acres. 1359. In 135 9, John Sewale of Herne granted to Isolda Southerye one verst in Herne t; and Gedeline, the wife of John Sewale, renounced claim to the laid land. Thomas Sewale made a like quit claims. In the same year, John Sewale granted two shillings a year to Harbledown hospital, out of the same land . 1361. In 1361, a grant of John.Arynburg, senior, and others, concerning one quarter of barley issuing out of a grange, one stable, and 12 acres of land, at Westbrooke. Dated at Herne, 5 Sept. 35 Edw. III. 1364. In 1 364, Salamon Butt granted to William atte Welle and others three acres of land in Reculver, April 18, 38 Edw. III. which were the same day re-conveyed to feoffees tt; who settled thena again on Salamon Butt, June 1 2, for the yearly rent of " one seam "of barley," unius summe ordei%. 1368. In 1368, a commission of penance was given to the vicar cf Reculver, like that recited from archbishop Winchelsey's register, p. 134; but to remain in force for one year only. In 1379, Nov. T, Thomas Bargrave and others demised to Richard and John Lucas one acre in Herne, for their natural lives . 1389. In 1389, an exemplification was made of certain deeds relating to the church of Reculver 395. In 1395, Robert Baker renewed the grant of a quarter of barley++f, which in 1399 was released by Dionysius atte Stone; and in 1401 was again granted by J. Prowde and J. Chirche!f.
