I did not know how outdated this book was, or that it was written primarily for the British. That said, it is still a wonderful book with very helpful info in it. I wish it went into more detail as far as composition dolls are concerned. But, what advice it does offer was a big help to me in understanding the workings of a doll. I am glad I made the purchase. It was delivered relatively fast considering it came from the United Kingdom and I was impressed with the overall condition of the book. I would recommend the company and the book.
