This is an excellent entry in the Phyrne Fisher series, but only if you read the paperwork edition. The hardcover edition leaves one of the two main threads unresolved, the book actually ending a good 20 pages short of where the trade paperback edition does. I've inquired of the publisher to see if the error was ever rectified, but never got a response.
