The first chapter was a little slow to get through, but the rest of the book made it well worth the time. Saint addresses erroneous attitudes about Third World peoples, the necessity for missions to go in with a humble attitude of learning and the desire to build relationships rather than just "fixing" problems. He also gives some remarkable insights on technology in the Third World. The book is filled with Steve Saint's own relationships and experiences with peoples in developing nations. Anyone going to the mission field should definitely read this first!
