I read this book with my bible beside me. There is so much to read but only one thing to absorb, "Get Hungry for God. Seek, and find Him." Pastor Tenney makes you see your spiritual life in the true light. I agree with all he says; our churches are cheating the lost and we as Christians are cheating ourselves. Why is it so hard to for us to grasp the Awesomeness of God. The Greatness of God. We don't fear God.
My prayer partner and I are both Christians and for the last year we have both felt and discussed a void in our spiritual lives. We kept telling each other that there just has to be more. More than just going to church on Sunday and bible study on Wednesday. You don't see any Power in our churches. Seeing the world hurting and we as children of God not doing anything to help them.
God is more than worthy to be chased. We chase after everything else we want in life and don't feel any shame in doing it.
Well this book answered that question for me and I will be sharing this book with my prayer partner. I understand perfectly what Pastor Tenney is saying and I will be chasing (seeking) God with all that I am. This book is a must read for Christians. It'll definitely challenge your relationship with God. We need true intimacy with our Father; it is what He wants and it is what I want. Do you?

Pastor Tenney has rediscovered what so many of our forefathers understood, and will certainly reignite the passion you once knew when you first believed. This book will show you that your hunger for God will lead you into His presence, if you follow hard after Him and not faint.

A good read !
I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who is "seeking" a deeper walk with the Lord.... Its practical, down to earth, astonishing and spurs you on ! I now have the Mary prayers, Martha's recipes book, which is a sequel I believe.......cant wait to sink my spiritual teeth into it !! Good work, Brother Tenney.... You have inspired me, encouraged me and challenged me..... Zoey
