A mysterious thriller, full of surprises.
This book tells the story of Erasmo Cruz, a seventeen-year-old obsessed with the paranormal. After advertising as a paranormal investigator, he gets caught up in three cases, each one taking progressively darker, scarier, and violent turns. Twists and surprises are layered throughout. As I read this book, I was never able to accurately guess what exactly was going on. There were several moments which left me genuinely shocked, which almost never happens. And the suspense will leave you turning the pages well into the night. Highly recommend this book.
