There is nothing from Atala or Ren???, for the reason that they both should be read in entirety by every student of the Romantic Movement, or, indeed, of French literature in general. We have been very sparing with notes, except in the case of pieces like Hugo's Grenade or the passage from Notre - Dam, which are full of topographical references.
