Seller's Description:
Fine in Fine jacket. Book. Signed on Full Title Page First Printing. DATED by the author on 7/26/2016. Author of FACES OF THE GONE. Laid in is a bookmark.
Another Carter Ross mystery. This time Carter must choose who gets to live....his unborn child or himself.
Carjackings, murder, and action.
I only gave this book a rating of three stars because there wasn't much wit and humor with this one. And two, because the author wrote a middle paragraph on page 234 that didn't set well with me as a reader of all his other Carter Ross mysteries.
I will quote.. He said, "You're not a Christian if you don't allow for forgiveness. I don't want to turn into one of the fake Christians who talks about forgiveness but really just wants to get all judgy."
That paragraph just didn't set well with me.
Other than that, to reiterate, the book just didn't have the wit and humor as all his other Carter Ross mysteries. I loved the wit the author had in all the other Ross books. But it was just lacking in this one.
