The Ford Treasury series of 3 books gives the reader a peek into days gone by. This first book is from 1950 with the second one being published in 1955 and the third published in 1963.
The value of the book lies not in the recipes, which appear to be guidelines for preparation of a food item rather than tested recipes. The value lies in the reviews of the restaurants and the depictions of the original art that was commissioned by the Ford Motor Company.
Consider reading this as a history book. So many of the Inns and Restaurants are no longer in business, but do an Internet search and the reader will find a few that still offer their services.
