Khasia Mts.; alt. 6-7000 ft., J. D. H. $ T. T. Sfem 3-5 ft., as thick as the thumb below. Leaves roniform in outline, 12-18 in. diam. Heads campanulate, ebracteolate; invol. bracts f-1 in., some lanceolate acuminate, others broadly ovate obtuse or acute, with membranous overlapped margins; ligules 2 in. long; disk-fl. with a long slender tube and short limb.
