Anybody who is interested in learning something about our nation's founding fathers needs to read this. Here are described men who thought and deigned to just blindly follow - as our Irreligious Right has chosen to do - using their heads and hearts alike to construct a path between an atheist state and a church-beholden state of religious servitude. The book outlines how the faiths (note the "s" - they all believed something different: not lockstep like the Irreligious Right would have you believe) of these learned men created a country where each could believe his own heart BUT NO RELIGION, NO "FAITH", NO THEISTIC HIERARCHY would override the laws of governance.
