Excerpt from The Faith by Which We Live: A Plain, Practical Exposition of the Religion of the Incarnate Lord His practical little book aims to present in pop ular form, free from technicalities, some of the great foundation truths of Christianity as they are related to life. It is a thorough revision and rear rangement, with some additions, of a work which I published some years ago under the title, The Religion of the Incarnation. The revision and rewriting have made it practically a new book and I have given it, therefore, a new name. In its earlier form the book has been out of print for several years. I have de layed reissuing it, first, because of doubts as to the real need of another edition, and second, because I was not content to have it reprinted without the revision it has now had.
