I bought this book from the library some ten years ago from the discard pile. A couple of pages had been stuck together with some other person's drink. We had to be careful in separating the pages. When we finally gort them all unstuck, we read about a marvelous ape who went on a wild adventure. The author and illustrator did a wonderful job of keeping the story supported by the pictures. Each picture had "hidden objects" in it,; we would have to find the spider in each illustration.
We often read this book and now I have purchased a copy to give to our grandson..also one to give to my daughter who is almost 16. I am sure she will enjoy this blast from her past.
I strongly suggest you treat yourself and family to this great book.
