It is a land where no African animals live. All I could do was use my imagination and call on my Welsh fairies to protect me. "Believing is seeing", old Nor explains. "I believe in my faeries and that may seem far-fetched to most people, but because I believe them to be here with me, I do not fear the wild animals any more. "This is the basis of my tale. Woven into all of it is Polly's quest to find out more about a being called "You-know-who".
