Lady Letitia Randall is a woman like no other, and the day he left her behind to fight for king and country was the most difficult of his life. Letitia believes that Christian abandoned her when she needed him most, and she hates to call on his aid. But to clear her brother's name, she has sworn to use every weapon at her command, even if it means seducing her ex-lover. This was a good book. Anyone who like Stephanie Laurens Bastion Club novels will also like this one.
The Bastion Club novels can be read in any order, but I think I would enjoy them more if I could read them in the order they were written. That is my only complaint -- that I wish the books were clearly labelled as to where in the series they belong.

It's worth reading!
I am an avid Stephanie fan and the Bastion club series has truly spellbound me. This one lives up the reputation she has gained for this magnificent series. The particular characters in this one are intriguing and something different than the others - less settled - but it is just as good. Of course there are the plot twists and the couple finding their way home too. Four stars!
