Excellent sourcebook for natural remedies
While this book is not exhaustive, it should be on the shelf of any serious natural health library. I have had my own experience with just how helpful its cures can be. Example: I had a plantar's wart for 7 years, which kept growing back even after having it cut out by a podiatrist two different times. It was on the ball of my right foot and made walking very painful for years, and I was so tired of having it cut out only to have it grow back in. The doctors explained that the roots were so tiny they could not all be seen and there could never be a guarantee they won't grow back. I looked in this book and followed Cayce's remedy for warts, which was very simple, involving making a paste of baking soda and castor oil and applying it to the wart with cotton flannel each night. I was not good about remembering to do it every night, but the pain would remind me so that I did this off and on for months whenever I remembered to do it. Then suddenly one day I noticed the wart was gone. I could even press on the area with my finger and feel NO pain. That was a full 25 years ago, and wart never came back. I'm a big believer in the efficacy of Cayce's remedies ever since, and this particular volume has a nice cross section of ailments that are addressed. Once in a while something he recommends is something that is no longer on the market, but still there is much to be gleaned from this book.
