As time goes on men work with better tools, and profit by others' advances and discoveries. With an increasing knowledge of Semitic lore much light has been thrown on the book in late years; and the learned men who three hundred years ago translated Job would be surprised could they see how their work has been improved upon. The mine, however, is not yet exhausted. And therefore still, as with the rest of our Sacred Writings, the solitary student here, and groups of scholars there.
