Good. Third printing, 1969. Octavo format in illustrated card covers with the original attractive Frank Newfeld decorations. This was M&S' first PBO, with a small number of cloth copies mainly going to libraries. First novel by Watson. Good copy with firm binding, modest wear/creasing to covers, no owner's name but considerable marginalia and underlining. Also, there is a 3/4" chip to the base of the spine. A usable reading copy only.
