Author Matt Wells finds himself recruited somewhat chillingly by e-mail to write the story of a serial killers ongoing mayhem as he has compiled a death list of upcoming victims. Matt goes along with the White Devil's wishes up to a point as his own family is being threatened but he reaches his boiling point and decides to face up to the murderer with a little help from his friends. This is an interesting premise up to this point and semed to be on the way to an original serial killer tale if that is possible but all falls flat from this point on as the writing becomes cliched and the hero tiresome. The last of the book seems thrown together with the only point being made here is for paving the way for the next Matt Wells installment. The end is very predictable in this regard and you will feel you have read it all before.
