Not only have I recommended this book to many friends, I have given it away, two times, before I even had a chance to finish reading it, the book is that good!
I usually do not recommend or give away books that I haven't read first. However, I made an exception for this one, twice! Each time, one of the stories seemed to speak to the particular challenges a friend was facing, and I felt the time was right to pass it on.
Please read this book, if you're a woman or if you know a woman. (Does that cover everybody?) Jesus revolutionized the way people of his day thought about women. Over the centuries, Jesus followers - both men and women - have largely forgotten this. Give yourself a chance to recover lost Truth and bathe yourself in the life-giving words and actions of the Christ.
I seldom give a book an over-the-top review, but this one is well worth every positive word anyone can put forth.
