I learned plenty about Milt Gross from here - he was a well-known figure, worked for Charlie Chaplin, was a household name it seems, and I am grateful to have learned about all that. The rest of the volume consists of reprints of comic books, which I had a hard time getting through. I am a lover of Gross's prose such as Nize Baby, but these comic books, which are well printed and presented, are too loose and madcap for me. It's great to have this material available, but it appealed to me less than his prose. I haven't seen enough of his newspaper strips to compare.
