Oscar Wilde, best known for his acerbic, witty plays and urbane nonfiction, was also a master of the fairy tale. This volume brings together all of Wilde's tales from his two collections--"The Happy Prince" and "The House of Pomegranates"--and retains the evocative illustrations done for the original editions.

Couldn't Get Through It
I like fairy tales and enjoyed The Importance of Being Earnest, so a book of Oscar Wilde's fairy tales seemed like a good choice. However, I found the tales mostly dull and tedious with only rarely a memorable line. Though I'm sure it will appeal to some readers, I gave up halfway through.
