The front and back covers, aswell as the spine is gauffered and all three sides are faded in places due to being sunned and the age. The title is located on the spine and is written as a half title. It is illuminated in gold. Towards the top of the spine, tere is a small rip down the hinge and the previous library has written their cataloging numbers in white tip-ex. On the inside end pages, there is a library sticker and also an inscription written in Latin. The title page has a small amount of pen marking. This book has hardback covers. Ex-library, With usual stamps and markings, In fair condition, suitable as a study copy. No dust jacket.
