This one is a classic from the great Arctic explorer Franz Boas. During the days of the great explorers in the later part of the 1800's and the first half of the 1900's just about every country had a famous explorer and Boas was one of the most well-known among the Arctic scholars. Very interesting reading, at this time the Inuit culture was much less changed by white contact so it was possible to see them much as they would have been centuries ago. Anyone interested in the Arctic or just cultures would enjoy this!
