Very interesting book about the changes in research for Parkinson's disease because of 6 drugs addicts who got synthetic heroin and it gave them late stage Parkinson's disease. A lot of chemistry but worth it. Fascinating !!

exceptional history
This is an exceptional history about Parkinson's Disease, well written and intriguing. It is a detective story, a medical "who done it", along with many insights into the brain's functioning and medical / scholarly "politics". it seems a must read for anyone diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. It is preparation for meeting with your doctors and understanding the treatment proscribed for you and family.
