Most inventors never make money from their creations, either through lack of capital, time or commitment, but mainly because the commercial imperative is missing. Of all the pitfalls, this is the most common; it is hard for an inventor to assess the material worth of his own creation. However, help is at hand. There are a variety of organizations, both private and public, which offer help to inventors.
