Super surprising at every turn
It is terrible to admit but I had read this years ago and forgotten. But it was just as good a page turner today as it was then. Great plot, great characters. I am not fussy about the science, but I found it believable. The sequel, Ghost Country, is a perfect, albeit a complicated twister, followup. I really recommend both to get the full effect of the first book's set up.
