But getting back to their indie pop goodness is The Boy Has Gone Away, a delightful three-song set for old and new Aberdeen fans alike. Limited to 1,500 pressings, The Boy Has Gone Away is specially designed to mend a broken heart, for Aberdeen has never shied away from such a topic and the band nurtures it with plenty of kindness. Those who enjoy the Ocean Blue and the Sundays will immediately crush on "Miss You Now You're Gone." Beth and John's warm vocals are reminiscent of early-'90s Brit-pop, and such a sound should bring smiles.
