Seller's Description:
Fine in Fine jacket. 8vo-over 7¾-9¾" tall. 3rd Printing. Here's an odd edition: a third printing of the Simon & Schuster American edition, bound in publishers cloth in a British publisher (Lorrimer) dust jacket. Book and jacket both in fine, as new condition. NO markings, no bookplates, no jacket tears or chips, but jacket flap is price-clipped (possibly by the U.S. publisher to avoid confusion over British pound price. Mixed U.S. /U.K. bk and jacket may be as issued since even book itself was printed in UK. In any case, scarce in hardcover form. Script is based on a continuity prepared post-production. Introduction by Von Sternberg himself. Better photo reproduction than the reprint issued in the 1980s..
