Fair. No Dust Jacket. Size: 5 3/4" x 8 3/4"; FAIR / NO DJ. There is no date printed in the book, but based on reviews that appeared in 1910 it was likely published in 1909. xv, 152 pp. All pages are lightly toned with age, pages "v" and 61 each have a tear in the right side, and a number of pages have lines and annotations in ink. Previous owner's bookplate glued to inside of front cover. Otherwise pages are clean, unmarked, intact. (Note: although a shelfmark has been taped to the spine, it appears to be from a private collection, since none of the other typical library treatments are present. ) Includes 8 full page b/w photo plates, each with a facing page "Key to Plate [#]." These are all intact and unmarked. Boards covered with red fabric, imprinted in black. Bumped, somewhat worn at top and bottom of spine. Bottom edges are shelfworn, bottom right corners worn to boards. Upper right corners are only slightly worn. Cover otherwise unmarked and in remarkably good condition for its age.
