Near Fine. 20 x 15 cm. 80pp. One of 200 copies printed with 14 pt Bembo types on Ragston paper, and quarter bound in Japanese handmade Nagisa paper & canvas over boards. Signed and inscribed by the poet: "Perin: My best wishes from the lake and mountain country of the wind. Keith-Nov. 1975". Note describing the work laid-in. Some toning to the edges of the covers and spine. "Half serious and half a literary spoof. The Basho of these poems is a chameleonic poet living somewhere between 17th Century Japan and present day Midwestern America. He speaks about his art, his life and death, and his preoccupation with pigeons and black bulls."
