Her wide-flung interests motivated her to volunteer in museums and other non-profits, all while developing her strong connection to her faith. While moving through, and eventually out of, an abusive relationship, Alfa returned to her deep-roots work in non-profits and activism. Her experiences inspired her to become a powerful advocate and activist, supporting women and children escaping domestic violence.
