This is my first experience of buying the accompanying art book for any series. Overall, the purchase proved to be disappointment, although I have to admit, that I did not know what to expect really. I think I liked about three pictures in the whole book, so it was not quite a good value for money. To be honest, I am a bit puzzled why such volume was ever published at all.
I am a moderate admirer of the GRRM's SoIaF books, I guess for some hardcore fans out there this would be a great purchase. For 'ordinary' people I would recommend to save the money and stick to the books (if this series will ever be completed).
