My first reaction when I saw the book was "it's a childrens book". It is 11x 8 1/2" and a 1/4" thick. What it is, is a beautifully illustrated book in fantastic color, of most of the ww1 aircraft that flew in the war. The pictures are so fantastic that if they were only on one page, the aren't, they take up both sides of the page, I would be tempted to cut them out and hang them on my wall. The 1/2 page comments, found on most pages, are very enlightening and helpful. I would recommend this illustrated account of the ww1 planes to anyone interested in knowing more about this time period and these planes and what it took to fly them. Want pictures of "dog fights" in the air, this is the book to buy
