It may seem a little odd that someone thought it was a good idea to adapt "The 9/11 Report" into a graphic novel. After all, many images from that day are burned into our nation's consciousness already, so who wants to see it illustrated? I must say, however, that this project was a marvelous idea, because it makes the report much more accessible. Keeping names and timelines straight can get really confusing when all you have is black and white text, and this is where the advantage of the graphic adaptation comes in. Really the book is one big visual aid. Having read this and understood it, I may very well take a crack at the text version.
