I am partial to newspapers as archives because they often include details about daily life you can't find anyplace else. This softbound copy is a collection of newspaper accounts from January 1 through December 30, 1848, from The Boston Cultivator newspaper.
The collections includes many notes about causes of death or accident. It includes an extensive index.
