Loved the book
Cathy Marie Hake writes good books and when I am reading them I sometimes get a good laugh. Love books about the old west. Light, sometimes funny and always good reading. Takes you away from the troubles of the day.

A Sweet Book
This story of three Scottish immigrant brothers who settle in Texas is very charming. Their Scottish accent and culture shine even in their new country. They each find love and welcome the women into their family in unique ways. The wedding ceremonies were very romantic. The stories deal with difficult issues and with less than charitable responses from people in the town and church. The Gregors set a fine example of love and acceptance which eventually wins others over.
