This collection of poems can be described as a personal anthology, representing as it does poems spanning a few decades. They tend to deal with end of life issues, issues that retain their poignant aspect even over a long period of time.I'm pretty sure I thought these works were philosophically existentialist when I penned them, but at this point, it's anybody's guess. And in case you're wondering who I consider poetic influences... there's Edna St. Vincent Millay, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, and Sylvia Plath. (To name a few.)
