This collection of Tallis pieces is a miscellany of the composer's works, featuring lush Latin antiphons, a very spare four-voice mass that resembles Tallis' Anglican music in its straightforward style, and a few rarely heard English pieces that are contrafacta or retextings of Latin pieces.
