Together in the publisher's card box, with pictorial title & contributor labels on each side of the box. "Tales For Males" is very good+ in the variant tan binding with blue titles. There is a previous owner's name inked on the front pastedown and some offsetting to endpapers, with a few holes in rear hinge, in a very good+ dj. (A couple of moderate-sized chips at corners) "Tales For Frails" is very good+ with the same previous owner's name inked on the front pastedown, with a trace of offsetting to endpapers & some small holes in front hinge, in a good only dj. (A few chips at edges of dj., including 2-inch chip at base of spine on dj. The box has a few splits along edges & light shelfwear) Features a John Fante story as well as a James M. Cain story. Many other notable contributors, too numerous to cite individually. (G)
