Good. This is a former library book with library stickers and stamps. 100% of this purchase will support literacy programs through a nonprofit organization!
This book was ok. it got very boring in the middle because it went back to all these flashbacks and even after the flash backs it didn't get much better. It had a pretty good twist t the end though.

One flashback to many
When my English teacher gave us a presentation on this book, it became the top book to pick up for my spring break book splurge. Much did I know, my teacher was not only teaching us the art of presentation, but also the art of selling a terrible book.
The first chapter was the only thing in the whole book that made sense. There was so many flashbacks, it made you get sick of reading and wanted you to hope your parents would turn the lights off on you. It's also a good thing that I didn't buy this "book" and was allowed to borrow it from my teacher because it would have been money wasted.
When I finished reading taken, I was confused, overjoyed, and mad at the same time. Confused because it made no sense, overjoyed because I had finished this terrible book and mad because I really cared to see what would happen in the end.
To give an idea what this book is about, it tells the story of Charity, a girl that has been kidnapped and taken to a van where she sits and has numerous irrelevant flashbacks and swoons over her kidnapper.
At all costs, avoid this book. I always hate giving a book a bad review, but this one needs it.
