Tacky?s back. This time he?s preparing, with his perfect penguin pals, for the annual penguin winter games. Tacky?s lack of discipline, however, proves his team?s undoing. Even the speed skating relay race seems out of reach, once Tacky swallows the baton. Still, all ends well and everyone decides Tacky?s a pretty nice bird to have around. Lynn Munsinger?s cartoonish, bright illustrations bring the characters to life. The story, however, is slight and lacks the cleverness of the original book. Still, Tacky fans probably won?t care.
