Make the Laps Count
In the course of swimming laps, one may wonder how to improve for more efficiency. One way to do this is to find a book which illustrates those muscles which are at work during all phases of a specific stroke, i.e., freestyle, breast, back ,and butterfly. This info can help you concentrate on or strengthen with exercises, those muscles which are weak and inefficient. You see the muscles / groups and are given specific ways to develop those muscles / groups, and speaking from experience, it works. It can work for all ages. Book assumes you know how to swim these four strokes. I would highly recommend Swimming Anatomy by Ian McLeod.
