The complete technique for this procedure is presented, featuring: an entire chapter devoted to the distinct advantages of using the syringe as an improved vacuum source; a large chapter on total liposculpture - correction of the iliac crest and lateral femorals as well as the abdomen and inner thighs; a complete discussion of contour augmentation; the use of autologous fat obtained for correction of contour deficiencies in the torso and the face; a clinical section presenting techniques for secondary liposculpting and treatment of contour irregularities and other problems following the previous liposuction; and advances in the treatment of cellulite, outlining the surgical techniques for trimming and smoothing the skin surface.
