A Great Work
About the best one work I've read about the Vietnam war. Every study of that conflict should include it. It also points out lessons for those considering future wars.

Penetrate The fog of Bull
This book should have been a "must read" for anyone interested in what actually happened to the USA in VietNam. That war was disguised by the fog of bull in the press; Palmer, a soldier and very skilled writer, tells it as it was. Do read it if you care at all about our experience in VietNam and what we should learn from it as guidelines for the present.
