I'm always looking for good fiction that appeals to men. Our church library has tons of "feminine fiction" but not too much written well that appeals to both men and women. "Summer Winds" is one in a series of four entitled the "Wheatheart Chronicles". After reading all four I've chosen to purchase "Summer Winds" and "Rivals of Spring" for the church library. The author uses situations to penetrate hidden personality traits commen to men. Both books have plots that bring you in and carry it well to the end. I tested them on my husband (who doesn't read much) and we both enjoyed them equally. The book is not "preachy", but certainly gives the reader cause for self-examination. Highly recommended.
