Articles reprinted from the earliest issues of the American Machinist include detailed pictorial presentation of "kinks" and methods to keep the small machine shop running smoothly. Profusely illuistrated with fine drawings and photographs. Bound in original dark blue cloth; spine unlettered, as issued. Title lettering boldly in gilt to cover boards. Sound and generally neat. Prior ownership in pencil is partially erased at front endpage. Mild bump across the spine has resulted in a short closed tear in the cloth. Some light smudging and soiling to the endpages.
